More than just a "doctor's office", TDII can be described as a "patient's office". We exist in order to improve the state of medical care throughout our community. Are you accepting new patients?We welcome new patients! Simply call our office for an appointment at 805-556-3200. What health insurances do you accept?Nowadays people change health plans and insurance carriers fairly frequently. Health plans come and go. Doctors and insurances re-negotiate contracts almost yearly. In most cases, you can enjoy the great service at TDII. We will verify your coverage and make an appointment for you as soon as we receive your intake form if you are a new patient. Then we will be happy to bill your insurance carrier as a courtesy to you. Please refer to our financial policy document we provide at your visit. Why should I come to TDII?If you are interested in great service from competent, caring physicians and nurses in an office setting that is pleasant and respectful, you should come to our office. Can I meet the doctor before I make an appointment?Yes, we hold "meet and greet" receptions in our office. Come in and meet the office staff and your Doctor and Nurse in a warm welcoming setting without obligation. What services do you offer at TDII?We provide a full range of primary care medical services. If we do not provide the service you need, we will help you get where you need to be. We only refer to specialist that we would feel comfortable sending members of our own family. I was one of Dr. Posson's patients in Santa Maria. Can I still come to him in Pismo Beach?Yes. Unless you have an HMO that has assigned you to another physician you will be able to come to see Dr. Posson in Pismo Beach. Dr. Posson is able to access your health record so you will not need to request them from Central Coast Family Care. Many of Dr. Posson's previous patients come to Pismo Beach to enjoy the upgraded service we offer at TDII. For your safety and convenience, Dr. Posson maintains clinical privileges at Marian Medical Center. Does Dr. Posson still make house calls?Yes. Dr. Posson still makes house calls and sees his patients in nursing homes and residential care facilities. Does Dr. Posson provide Osteopathic treatments?Yes. When indicated, Dr. Posson provides this service. |
